Muir Lake Area Bus Routes

Parkland School Division’s Transportation Services department is diligently revising routes in the Muir Lake area. This is necessary to alleviate delays and ensure the continuous operation of existing routes.

Transportation Services is combining some existing routes to ensure consistent pickup and drop-off times. These improvements may result in a change to your child’s pickup or drop-off times. Transportation Services apologizes for any inconvenience and promises to communicate clearly and directly with families to the best of our ability.

Students will not be impacted for not having the correct bus pass as we will endeavour to exchange them as quickly as possible. Bus passes will be reprinted as necessary and distributed by various means, including for pick up at the Transportation Services office inside the Centre for Education (4603 48 Street in Stony Plain).

Please note: These changes are not applicable to route M-09. We are still trying to obtain a driver for that route as we are unable to combine it with another due to the number of riders. Once we have information regarding a driver for M-09, we will notify parents. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience.

Across our system, and across the province, bus drivers are in extremely short supply, but Transportation Services will continue to seek options to accommodate students and families.
