RCMP Presence at Muir Lake School

We want to inform Muir Lake School families about an incident involving a police presence at our school during the afternoon of Friday, May 24th.

As this involves an individual student, we handle such matters with the utmost compassion and respect for the student's privacy and dignity. We want to assure you that this was not a school-wide emergency. In the event of an emergency, we always encourage parents and guardians to familiarize themselves with Parkland School Division’s emergency procedures.

To maintain privacy, we asked our students and staff to continue with the day's track meet while emergency responders assisted. We are informing you in case your child has questions about the events.
